Bacon Nation Unwrapped: Recipes for the New Year

Recent news from the Bacon Nation...

• Follow Mario's lead for the holidays with a meal of linguine with clams, hot chiles, and pancetta.
• Hashbrowns are my second favorite breakfast food after bacon. So why not just combine the two?!
• For another breakfast idea, try cheddar and bacon chive scones.
• Moving on to lunch...how about some bacon potato chowder?
• And then of course you'll need appetizers for cocktail hour. Bacon and cream cheese rollups should do the trick.
• And last, this is the only non-recipe item I have for today, but I must direct you to this story about a sheep-pig breed that was recently re-introduced in England after 37 years. I'm really not quite sure what to make of this. So I'll just leave you on that odd note!
