Happy National Pig Day
Today is National Pig Day (although the holiday isn't official yet - support our cause to make it a real holiday by joining us at the Bacon Nation or on Facebook). After yesterday's gluttonous festivities at the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival, unfortunately I won't be indulging in copious amounts of bacon to celebrate the day (although I did have some sausage for breakfast).
It's only appropriate to mark the holiday by sharing video from yesterday's bacon eating contest at Bacon Fest. For the second year in a row, the winner was Manni Balignasay.
