  • That was quite funny about your matzah ball attack. It brings back memories of the time I was praising the great flavors of bacon in Whole Foods. Some unknown assailant threw a broccoli bunch at me when I wasn't looking. I wasn't quick enough on my feet to make a good come back like "Hey, this broccoli might be good with bacon like you do with green beans!"

Heather, since completing your book, how has your bacon consumption changed? And was there ever a time that you got tired of it?

  • I have yet to get tired of bacon - either as something to eat or something to write about. In fact, I had the exact opposite problem when writing the book. Whenever I sat down to write, I would get hungry and had to stop myself from frying up bacon at 11 pm on a few occasions!

  • I don't understand how it is that I've only JUST discovered your blog. I adore bacon! (Love Powells, too, where I first stumbled upon your posts.) Congrats on the book...I'll keep checking in. Cheers...
