Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour Phoenix Recap

We all managed to survive the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour's stop in Phoenix this past Sunday (although some of us are still recovering...). It was a really great day and there were several dozen super fun people in attendance. Our gracious hosts at Renee's Grand Tavern threw an amazing party, the Vande Rose bacon was beyond delicious, and Bacon Restaurant did a most excellent job of creating bacon appetizers and desserts for everyone to enjoy - including bacon wraps, BLTs, bacon cookies, and many, many strips of glorious bacon.

We'll be announcing more Bacon Tour cities/dates in the next few days, so stay tuned!

  • Here in Austin, we could use a bacon tour. Anthony Bourdain called bacon the gateway protein. Bacon is the only way to make USDA Grade Hippy eggless omelets palatable. Maybe bacon can change the minds of vegetarian food terrorists?
