What Would Brian Boitano Make? Bacon, of course.
Brian Boitano has a new show on the Food Network starting this weekend. My excitement is barely containable. I want to run around the house while hollering at the top of my lungs and using a lot of four letter words to describe how incredibly AWESOME this is. Instead I'm channeling my energy in a more productive way to spread this news in blog form in case you are one of the unfortunate people who hasn't yet heard this glorious new.
This show has HUGE potential. The guy has a personality made for entertaining TV.
(I rarely watch the Food Network anymore and had no idea this was happening...so I realize I'm behind the curve)
My friend's initial reason for putting this on my radar is because in one of the video clips on the Food Network website, Brian Boitano makes a bacone (click here to watch - you have to watch all the clips consecutively, but trust me - it's worth every single second of your time).
Tivo is fired up and ready to go.

Above all, I would have been really hard pressed to see that show in the first place. Food Network has really gone downhill since the REAL cooks left the network. I am waiting for Ina Garten to go to Fine Living, where she really better fits in.
Spoken in a flamboyant way, “Oh my God, did Brian Boitano quit his ice skating day job?”
Once you get past Rachel Ray hawking her self-branded bake ware set, that show segment really was AWESOME. I couldn’t contain my excitement either. Ok, maybe not. But, I squealed like a pig.
I am so glad to see that someone else deep fries bacon. I am off the hardware store to get some mesh.
